Camel Heights Water Main Replacement Project
Evergreen Metropolitan District
Camel Heights Water Main Replacement Project
Weekly Status Report
Week of July 9, 2012
Construction on Phase 3 will begin on Monday, July 9th.
REMOTE PARKING WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED!!
Garbage, mail and parcel delivery will have full access.
Camel Heights Road will be closed at the location of the District’s Pump Station. Access to the Camel Heights Subdivision will be restricted to the Little Cub Creek Road entrance for the first 2 or three days of this week. For the remainder of this project, this location will be very busy with the movement of equipment and material. It is advised that all residents, visitors and couriers use the Little Cub Creek Road access while work is in progress.
Please review the map for Phase 3 for reference of where construction will be taking place.
During this phase of construction, there will be scheduled water disruptions
for a number of properties when we transition these service lines from old to
new water mains. We will notify all affected customers in advance. As mentioned
in previous status reports, we are working on areas of the water system that are
very old and not well documented. There is always a slight chance of an
unscheduled water service interruption. We recommend that all residents maintain
a standby supply of drinking water in case this occurs. A few pitchers of water
in the refrigerator or a full tote should be enough while the system is down.
As always, if you do experience any periods of discolored water, please flush
through your household by running COLD WATER ONLY. Notify the District promptly
if you experience discolored water or an unscheduled water service disruption.
As work continues through this final phase, we will again be working adjacent to
property edges and through existing easements. In some cases, this may
temporarily restrict access to individual properties. We will notify each
property owner or tenant before construction limits any access and provide an
opportunity to relocate their vehicles.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at the
