DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
Accounts 60 days past due no longer receive a hand delivered statement
brought to the property, but all statements are delivered via the U.S. Post
Office. WAREHOUSE The District's
Collection and Distribution Department (C&D) is responsible for maintaining the
sewer mains, manholes, water mains, valves and hydrants in the service area.
This maintenance occurs on a routine and emergency basis. The crew consists of a
manager, supervisor and six technicians. Equipment includes everything from hand
tools to specialized commercial vehicles and excavation equipment. A new
building is planned at the West Jefferson County Metropolitan District
wastewater treatment facility that will house the C&D equipment and crew. This
effort will consolidate the tools and manpower of the department into one
central location. The project is in the planning stages. |
